First Draft - Mahuika Show

We are writing about our experience at the Mahuika Show.

Once apon a time there were two little girls one was named Sisy and the other was Kahu Kahu was always was angry with Sisy because Sisy was very lazy but Kahu was a bosy bot kahu was Seting up camp until she saw a magic Kete she opened it her Nana froze and a flaming finger nail jumped out of the Kete he was the last flaming finger nail from Mahuika and nana froze so they took the flaming finger nail and tried to give him back. but Pokeko took him and put him on his back and took to the swamp Pokeko had a flaming beak from Mahuikas curse so Pokeko took the flaming finger nail to Mahuika when they go there Mahuika said who dears to enter my house the last time someone then she stoped and looked and she saw the flaming finger nail. so Mahuika fixed Pokekos beak and he was happy and Mahuika unfroze Nana.

Final Draft - Descriptive Writing - My Mum

Mum looks like a hard working lady, she has pure black hair, she is a medium size lady, she has brown sparkling eyes, she has long lovely hair. My mum’s favourite colour is purple.

Mum likes to meet new people and she likes to try out new things.She would never do a dare but she would always have at least four coffees. We love to go down the driveway and back and we like to bake delicious cakes.

On Friday we always get take we always only pick three shops we always pick the same three shops. She would always surprise me with something amazing like the giant Lego box. We sometimes go cleaning together but it’s rare. She helps me with my homework she likes to watch the 7 seeds and hospital shows. She support me in my soccer games mum makes me feel amazing. Mum is the best mum ever because she loves and cares not just our own family every other family's out there. I love my mum.  LT to write a description of our mum using precise words to create an image in our readers minds.

Anzac Day

The reason why we have Anzac day is to honour the soldiers who died in the war.  We will always remember them . What we do on Anzac Day is wear poppies they were the first plant to grow after the war. Sometimes people wear there grandfathers medals. But not on there heart, next to your heart. At war memorials we say the ode and listen to the last post. Lest we forget.
