Narrative Asttle Writing

Teacher Note - ‘UNASSISTED’ ASTTLE WRITING
The children write for a total of 40 minutes. Within that timeframe they have to plan their writing (a brainstorm) write, edit and re-craft their work. They are not allowed to use dictionaries or word cards. The students completed their writing on paper but have typed it out for their blogs.

Once upon a time there was a guy called Lee he went for an unexpected Adventure then a myistereyous voice apeard saying help me help me he turned and said whos there know one was there. he heard it again it was a girl that was in her head her name was Sera. Sera told him every thing she knew Lee was super comfuesd he had never heard anything called a Zero Point and the Loop but he knew how he would tell his his friend but he didint want to anoy him and he wouldint beleave him so he went to Sera without him. And suddenly he saw the bunker that sera told him to go to. he stoped thought and dived into the bunker that Sera told him to go into. One door was open that Sera left open so Sera was not lying he slowly went down and saw the Zero Point he went down a litle more and there was a remote on the ground but it was broken Sera said it is the only thing that could bring her back but the remote was broken. But Lee had a soultion if he could go to his normal home he could get peacseis and fix it so he ran as fast as he could until he got home he was home he was looking for his remote by the tv and got the other remote that could save sera and put the peacsis in. He got to the bunker and saved her and they became friends forever.

Water - Amazing Subtance

We are using water to help us understand different scientific concepts.

Last Friday we did science. I learnt an experiement called the gravity defying lid.

Then we did another experiment. We were going to see which is heavier, cold water or warm water.

We also did another experment and learnt a new word called evaporation. The experiment was about which place makes water evaporate quicker, n the shade or in the open. (The sun) The answer is the open.

The Olympic Games

We are learning about the Olympic Games.

My favourite sport in the olympics is the kayaking because they look cool while they are hanging on the boat. When they turn, they are super good at it and they never fell off. Lisa Carrington is New Zealand's best kayaking. She won 3 gold medals at the Tokyo games.
